Default random draw from list of names

i want to do a draw from a list of names. some names appear multiple times
because it is a ballot draw. is there a function where i can shuffle the
names and then have excel randomly draw a name?

i tried randombetween but right now the names are in order and one name
keeps coming up repeatedly.

any suggestions would help,

thank you,

jat

Hi,

Put the formula
=RAND()
in an adjacent column and sort the banes and this column and the name at the
top will be random.
