I have a Mac AND A PC at my place of employment. On my Mac I have MS Office
2004. On my PC I have MS Office 2003. In Excel 2004 on my Mac, there are three (3) views- Normal, Page Layout View, and Page Break Preview. "Page Layout View allows me to see what the worksheet will look like before I print it, and allows me to work on the work sheet at the same time. On my PC, however, I only have two (2) views, Normal and Page Break Preview. If I click on Page Print Preview, I can see how the page will look when printed, but I can't work in the document in that mode. Will I have to wait until my employer gets Excel 2007for my PC in order to get Page Layout View? How could this have happened? |

Well, that would be one of the changes between 2003 and 2004.
You CAN work on your document in Page Break Preview. You can also go to Tools Options View and ensure Page breaks is checked if you'd like to know where pages begin and end in Normal mode. You will have to wait for 2007 which has the page layout view.
I assume "how could this have happened" is rhetorical. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 21 Sep 2009 11:23:01 -0700, GrantsDiva wrote: I have a Mac AND A PC at my place of employment.
