How do you format a cell in excel 2007 for phone numbers?

Select the cell or cells you want to format, right click the selection and
choose FormatCells from the pop up menu that appears, click the Number tab
on the dialog box that appears when you do that and select Special from the
Category list... select the Phone Number item in the Type list.
