Thumbs up Answer: If function with 3 different outcomes

  1. Select the cell where you want to display the result.
  2. Type the following formula in the formula bar:

    Code:
    =IF(E17<C17,"Below Range",IF(E17D17,"Above Range","In Range"))
  3. Press Enter to apply the formula.

This formula uses nested IF functions to check if the value in cell E17 is below the range (less than C17), above the range (greater than D17), or within the range (between C17 and D17).

If the value in E17 is less than C17, the formula will return "Below Range". If the value in E17 is greater than D17, the formula will return "Above Range". If the value in E17 is between C17 and D17, the formula will return "In Range".

You can adjust the cell references in the formula to match your specific data range.
