Default National language function names

Hi All,

Does an English language Excel2003 recognize a function written in a
national language?

E.g. in a workbook produced by a Hungarian language version contains
=SZORZATĂ–SSZEG(...), which is =SUMPRODUCT(...)'s equivalent. Shall it be
transformed to =SUMPRODUCT(...) when opened in an English language version?

Thanks,
Stefi
