Default Excel 2007 custom views and tables

Apparently when you have an Excel 2007 Table anywhere in a workbook the
"Custom Views" feature is disabled. Is this correct? Are there any
workarounds?

Thanks, Will

FWIW, you have the same behavior with xl-2003 lists (aggregated feature and which becomes "tables" in xl-2007)

Hi Hi Will

Excel help in Excel 2007 say (not looked in 2003)

If any worksheet in the workbook contains an Excel table, the Custom Views command will not be available anywhere in the workbook.

So the chance that this will be changed is 1 %
