In Excel how do I put variables in links to other workbooks?
Is it possible to insert a variable in a link to another workbook? Is there
some way automatically manipulate the link with say the date for example. Ex. In March the data in this cell would be read from a cell in workbook 3 and in April it would read data from workbook 4. Thanks |

It sounds as though you can use TODAY() and INDIRECT but we need to know
what the workbooks are called -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom "bwh2o" wrote in message ... Is it possible to insert a variable in a link to another workbook? I think INDIRECT may work, if it works like indirect addressing. I was just using the date as an example.
