I am trying to develop a score sheet for a gymnastics competition and need
help with the formulas. In one part of the sheet there are four judges for a routine but on the day may only have 2 judges actually scoring. I need to find the average of the 4 scores if there are 4 judges or average of 2 scores if there are only 2 judges. How do I can the calculation to ignore blank cells? |

The AVERAGE function will ignore blank cells, so if your scores are in
A1 to A4 you can use: =AVERAGE(A1:A4) If you have blanks in any of those cells they will be ignored. Hope this helps.
