Default Further to my other post....

.....I am having problems with this website...."Community Message Not
Available" is what I get when I click on my own post to which I wanted to
respond to T. Valko (not sure if that's the spelling---can't get into the
post to check)....

Cell K13 has the total number of hours between two dates and is formatted
[h]:mm. Number of hours is 67.10.
Cell H15 has the number of cases made per hour, which 29 and is formatted as
Accounting.
If you calculated 29 cases per hour over 67.10 hours, you get 1945.9 cases.
However, H15*K13 is giving me 81.63. Why?

Thank you
Connie

Connie,

Formatting your hours cell is giving you an improper number. You need to
format the hours to a General number. Then your formula will come out
correct.

Try:

H15*K13*24

Multiply by 24 to calculate cases per hour instead of cases per day.

That cell needs to be formatted as it is for other reasons. See my posting
(if you can get into it) today titled "Calculate diff. between 2 times" just
a few down from this one. Thank you. Connie
