Default calculate filetred cells only

Sir,
I am having a worsheet data which contains Salesperson Name, Month, Sales &
Sub Group. If i select one Sub Group from the filtered option, it will
dispaly the details of that specified sub Group, but i want to display the
total of Sales figures in the last row of the data. How can i got this value
from the filtered data??
Please help out...

You can use a Pivot Table or the SUBTOTAL function as described 'here'

Hi,

To sum up filtered data in a range, you may use the SUBTOTAL(9,range)
function.
