[Compound - problem]
Column A goes down from A to E, ok? Column B has set of 5 random numbers: 17, 2, 43, 26, 9. Now, copy both column's information - A&B (letters & numbers). Let's copy to columns E & F... ok? Same order of information is now pasted into column E & F. Is it clear what I want? I want to sort E & F to bring the numbers into a Hi - Lo. Click sort, done. What happens column E & F do change... as well as Columns A & B. In short 2(two) columns have the same information: Col/A&B & Col/E/F... same. Summary - my friend did what I want on "mobile excel". He highlighted E & F... click sort. Column A & B... did not change. CAN THIS SORT BE DONE WITH EXCEL 2007? Boy, can this be done? Portland, Oregon 2/16/2009 |
