Default concatenating

If the number 30 is really "fixed" as you indicated (not sure about that
because of your use of 300 in your example), then make it 100 times larger
(3000 instead of 30) and add it to the left 2 numbers...

=3000+LEFT(A1,2)

This returns a real number, not text.
