How to format Text by function
I want to format some text in a cell by function. Like the Text below:
[example] Achievement by this report (Bold&Underline) .......... Plan to achieve by next report (Bold&Underline) ......... Major Issue & Risk (Bold&Underline) ......... |

How to format Text by function
I guess you you know about ctrl B and U
or you can use conditional formating to achieve. For examaple you want to to type in Hello and the spreed sheet wil automatically bold and underline SO go to conditional formating on the styles tab. Click conditional formating then new rule and then select format cell that contain one your inthere go to the drop down selct specific text and a window comes up type the text you want to automicaly format and the hit the format button and do whatever you want color bold underline strike through ect. repeat the process Select yes is this helped "Edward Wang" wrote: I want to format some text in a cell by function. selectl all
under the styles tab hit conditional formating then new rule format cells that contain: In the drop down select specific text type the specific text or phrase you would like bold and underlined and then select the format button you can then do whatever like to the text, Click done and then any time some types these phrases they will formated as you set in rule repeat the proces "Edward Wang" wrote: I want to format some text in a cell by function. nope, no colors or bolds can be achieved
