Default Cell Shading

Can I use a logic function to select the highest value in a row or
column of values and then have it auotomatically shade that cell to
indentify it?

Hi,
You can use conditional formating , and enter your formula there so when the
value is hit it will shade the cell

Default Cell Shading

Below is an example of my data . What I want to do is shade the
highest value in all columns except the last where I want to shade the
lowest. Excel 2007 I didn't see how to do that with conditional
formatting.

FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO
0.473 0.844 49 718 192 128 32 37 89
0.447 0.817 46 639 240 179 40 28 114
0.480 0.804 50 667 197 155 40 26 82
