Default How do I get rid of expired links

I have a [Excel 2000] spreadsheet that shows a link to another spreadsheet in
Edit/Links. However, I can't find any cell in the spreadsheet that accesses
the spreadsheet listed in the link. Also, if I click on the link in
Edit/Links, the Update Now is grayed out.

How can I delete this link? Whenever I open the spreadsheet, I am asked if I
want to update the link, then told Excel can't find it.

Thanks,

I'd use Bill Manville's FindLink program:

Thank you! This found the [lack of] link; then the "list and delete" option
got rid of it (without damage to other, valid links).

Could be part of a defined name.

Have a look in InsertNameDefine
