Comparing two columns , and giving comparison results in a third.

Devenshire writes Hi, Suppose your result column is D then enter =C1-A1 in cell D1, copy this formula as far as necessary and then choose Format, Cells, Number tab, Custom and enter the following custom format on the Type line +;-;= HI OK thanks for all your assistance and expertise.
