Default Find and Replace

Either click the close button if you want it to go away, or select the sheet
tab in Excel. The find & replace box will become passive while you navigate
in XL.

Default Find and Replace

Hi teelee

Assuming you are on sheet3 while already executed the Find/Replace dialog
and want go to sheet1, you need to click on the sheet tab of sheet1 and
EXcel will bring you there without the need to close the Find/Replace.

Yes I understand that but what I was trying to avoid was using the mouse from
going to find and replace to my worksheet. I know once I'm in the worksheet I
can use ctrl f which brings me back to the find & replace, but is there away
to go from the find & replace to my worksheet without using the mouse?

Thanks

Default Find and Replace

Do the following
when you have your Find/Replace executed
press Alt + F6, this will bring the focus back to the worksheet

if you are on a sheet and want to move to another sheet,
press Ctrl + Page Up / Page down

to bring focus back to your Find/Replace
press Ctrl + F

Is this what you are after?

Default Find and Replace

Hi teelee

Its works on my Excel 2003, pressing both Alt and F6 together will
bring you back to the worksheet. Not sure if you are using the same version or
would there be differences between version.

Pls try again.

Default Find and Replace

To close the dialogue box with just keyboard:
Esc or
Alt+F4
will work. Using XL2003, I was not able to get Alt+F6 to switch windows
either.
