Setting Preferences for Multiple Worksheets
Jimminy Cricket!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
there's got to be a way to format one worksheet and have that same format be reflected in additional worksheets as they are created. no macros, no programming, no special tricks. just make it happen. So the cell formats, colors, watermarks, fonts, etc. become part of the entire workbook. |

Setting Preferences for Multiple Worksheets
Would this work for you?
Create and format a sheet to your liking. THEN, Hold down <Ctrl, Click on the sheet tab and drag to the right. Release the mouse first, then release <Ctrl. You now have an *exact* copy of that sheet. Rename it as you please. -- HTH, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Kansas City Kitty" wrote in message ... Hi,
You may alternatively also right click on the sheet and then go the Move or Copy. Please check the box for "Create a Copy" -- Regards, Ashsih Mathur Microsoft Excel MVP www.ashishmathur.com "Kansas City Kitty" wrote in message ... Setting Preferences for Multiple Worksheets
You can open a new workbook and delete all but one sheet. Customize as
you wish then save this as SHEET.XLT in XLSTART folder. It now becomes the default InsertSheet...................for all workbooks. More can be found on this in Help under "templates"(no quotes).
