Hi everyone,
I am just trying to insert a horizontal line just below the header and just above the footer. Is this possible? I can do this in Microsoft Word but I just don't know how to do this in excel. Thank you for your help in advance. Regards, James |

With the Header, you could just format to single underline or reverse the
steps below. For the footer, in Center Footer enter a line of underscores ______________ then hit ENTER and type in or Icon in your footer Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 15 Sep 2008 15:53:34 -0700 (PDT), James8309 wrote: Hi everyone, I am just trying to insert a horizontal line just below the header and just above the footer. Actually if my A4 landscape style margin is 1.9 left and 1.9 right, I wanted to have horizontal line below the header all the way between those margins. It only allows me 255 characters. What should I do? Please help |

Maybe you could create the header in MSWord. Print a few sheets with just that
header (from MSWord). Then run the paper through again when printing your excel data.
