Default horizontal scroll bar

I am working in Excel 2007. I am having trouble with the horizontal scroll
bar. In one of my worksheets the tab (when moved slightly) jumps 100's of
records. I am working in a database that has 1200 records but jumps to
20,000's when I barely touch the tab.

Doesn't happen in other worksheets. Has to be a simple adjustment....but
where?

Thanks

Press Ctrl-End and see where Excel takes you. It sounds as though Excel
thinks you have thousands and thousands of rows. If Ctrl-End takes you way,
way down the sheet, try deleting all the rows from the bottom of your data to
the end of the sheet and see if that doesn't clear up your issue.
