Redefining the $ icons format
In Excel 2003, I could r-click the $ icon and assign a macro from the
personal macro book to change the $ icon to format in a different dollar format than the standard accounting dollar formatting one which I don't like. I like the $ sign right next to the numbers vs. left aligned. How do you do this in Excel 2007? |

Brain Drain overnight while working. Just follow Mike Middleton's lead and just format the cells as Currency instead of Accounting. Regards Mark. |

In Excel 2007, I choose Home | (Cells area) Format | Format Cells | Currency .... Once I have the desired format in a cell, I use the Format Painter (paint brush icon) to apply it to other cells.
