Select the cell right click go the "Format Cell..."


Select Numbers Tab
Category : Custom and type the below mentioned lines and see the
results.

If the time is 88:34:56

Type this dd "Days"-hh:mm & the result will be 03 Days-16:34
Type this dd-hh:mm & the result will be 03-16:34
Type this dd - hh:mm & the result will be 03 - 16:34
