Default excel colors

We recently bought new HP flatscreen monitors. Our computer workstations are
Dell's. After installing the new monitor I am not able to view any colored
cell's that I highlight. When I format the cell for the proper color it does
not show up on my monitor. If I view it in print view or print the worksheet
the colors are fine. Everything worked fine until I installed the new
monitor. All of the monitor drivers were updated.

Thanks for your help.

It appears that the problem lies with your monitor. Contact the monitor
manufacturer or Dell. HTH Otto

Bob

Check this out................

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=833258

The fill color, the fill pattern, or the line color of a WordArt or
AutoShape object in an Office document does not change

As directed, change the High Contrast setting in Windows OS
