Lookup or...?

The sign , seems to be ; in my language, even if I have the english versjon. Do you think it's anaother sign for * too..? Bob Phillips skrev: As an example, using English function names =INDEX(Sheet2!C2:C20,MATCH(1,(name=Sheet2!A2:A20)* (weeknum=Sheet2!B2:B20),0)) which is an array formula, it should be committed with Ctrl-Shift-Enter, not just Enter. Excel will automatically enclose the formula in braces (curly brackets), do not try to do this manually. When editing the formula, it must again be array-entered. and adjust the ranges to suit -- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "Lene" wrote in message ... Lookup or...?
I wouldn't have thought so. Semi-colons ; or commas , are list separators
and are set in you Language and Regional Options settings. * is an Excel operator. -- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "Lene" wrote in message ... okey..
