Default Help with multi sheet workbook

I have 12 worksheets that have a players number and name in the first lines
followed by a batting order and position for each player. Each sheet
represents a game. Ex;
A B
1 Rich
2 Tom
3 Tim
4 Paul

A B C D E F G H I J K L M
1 2 Tim 1 1 3 ob 5
2 4 Paul 2 3 ob 3 4
3 1 Rich ob 6 5 4 2
4 2 Tom 3 ob 1 ob 3

in the first section column A is player num B is player name, In the
second section A is batting order, B is player num, C is name, D is
position played in that inning, E is batting result for inning, F is
position for next inning....

I would like to have a summary sheet that will total up the number of time
each players played each position. ex out put

A B c d e f g h i
1 2 3 4 5 6 ob
1 Rich 0 1 0 1 1 1 1
2 Tom 1 0 1 0 0 0 2

a is player num, b is name, c:i reprsent each possible position. across
from each player is the totals for each positioon. But i would need it
calculated over many worksheets, any help?

Without studying it in great detail, would the Data, Consolidate command
work here?

First, create a Summary Sheet, from all 12 worksheets:

Next, wouldn't a Pivot Table, based on the Summary Sheet, do what you need?
