Default auto subtract

Hi, i am `trying to find the auto function to allow column G to get the
outstanding balance due from the column D after the deposit has been taken.

thanks for that Sandy it worked, is there some way of using the code on all
the lines without having to edit the row number each time

Default auto subtract

Yes. When you select a cell you will see a small black square in the bottom
right-hand corner of the cell. Hover the cursor over this square and the
big white cross cursor will turn into small crosshairs. With the crosshairs
showing, left click and hold the button pressed while you drag the cursor
down the column. The formula will be copied and the cell references will be
indexed as you drag down. The small square is called the fill handle.
