Default Is there a way to save header that repeats from worksheet to works

The text below is copied form
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...292861033.aspx

If you've created a template named Book.xlt or Sheet.xlt and saved it in the
XLStart folder, Microsoft Excel uses the template to create new default
workbooks (default startup workbook: The new, unsaved workbook that's
displayed when you start Excel. The default startup workbook is displayed
only if you haven't included other workbooks in the XLStart folder.) or to
insert new worksheets. The XLStart folder is usually located at:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\XLStart

To use template (.xlt) files stored on a network file location, you can
specify that location as the alternate startup folder (alternate startup
folder: A folder in addition to the XLStart folder that contains workbooks
or other files that you want to be opened automatically when you start Excel
and templates that you want to be available when you create new workbooks.).

Nor sure if headers are included in the saved material. But try it. If it
does not work just delete the file.
The info for the folder for XLSTART is for Excel 2003
Do a search for XLSTART to find where your folder is

best wishes

Yes, headers will be stored in such a file. That will only help for
brand-new files you start.

So, to operate on an existing file, you can do the Page Setup on one
worksheet, then immediately go to each other sheet and hit CTRL-Y to
repeat the Page Setup. That's similar to copying to each sheet.

Or you can select more than one sheet at a time and use Page Setup. It
will affect all selected sheets.

I don't think there is a way to link them so you can dynamically
change headers. You would have to do one of these methods each time
you want to change the header.

Why CTRL+Y when the one-finger F4 does the same?

I've had a hard time getting F4 to repeat some things, like Page
Setups. Not sure why. But that would certainly work, if it works.
