Default Date related Problem

Hi all,
Can any body solve my problem like i have to add some cells value (COL
E )which are comes under a particular month and which are
corresponding and inbetween of those two dates like fist date of the
month and last date of the month.( eg. comes under COL C and COL D).
take the example of March month the value of Coleumn E should give the
addition of all the cell value which will come or corresponding to COL
C and COL D of dates 01/13/08 and 31/13/08.
