Have a PT with the last column as a percentage. . (budget/actual) with
over budget values in red. The column label reads :Under/Over Budget. Is it possible to have the word "Over" in the column label appear in red? I don't think so, but ya never know. Pierre |

Hi,
I think you just need to select the cell, then in the formula bar, select Over, then select the color you want from the color palate. You can even have it in bold if you want. Note, the formatting will not show in the formula bar, just in the cell. Regards - Dave. |

Thanks for the reply Dave, Excel won't allow the change.
"Cannot Edit Subtotal, Block Total, or Grand Total Names" (upon a right click in the address bar) is the message. Oops, sorry. Haven't played with formatting in pivot tables.
