Default How do I Reset Column lettering

Hi, I am using Excel 2002 and noticed that one of my spreadsheets lettering
for columns is "A", "B", "C", "D", "F", for some reason column "E"
disappeared. I know that I deleted and inserted columns numerous times but I
believe that the sequence is rearranged for the new / deleted column but not
in this case, the column letter is skipped. How do I re-sequence the columns
so that they are sequential?
Thanks you,
Bob

Are you sure it is not hidden? Select column D thru F, right-click and
"Unhide"

Would appear that column E is hidden.

Select D and F then right-click and "unhide"

Maybe you hide column E.

Hover your mouse in the column D header. The cursor will change to a
downward arrow. Left click and drag accross the column headers to column F.
In effect, selecting columns D:F.

Goto FormatColumnUnhide

Another way to unhide column E:

Edit|Goto
type
E1
Click ok

Then Format|column|Unhide

Default Hide and seek

Hi guys, that's exactly what it was, somehow / somewhere, I must have hidden
this column and forgot to unhide it when I finished what I was doing and
since I am the only user of my system, i question why I would hide it in the
first place but that's my problem to figure out.
Thank you all for your help, the reason that I took so long to POST a reply
was that I was able to send a YES for "WAS THIS POST HELPUL" but when I hit
REPLY, the screen went blank for a second or two and then the same page (my
POST titled How Do I Reset Column Lettering" appeared, I did not get the
Reply To screen that i expected).
FYI, I am using Mozilla so i signed-in to the message board using IE and the
same thing happened. I have another computer so I tried signing-in with that
computer but again, I would get my POST back (NO Reply To screen).
I am using a friends computer to POST this note and apologize for the delay
in POSTING but I am baffled at what is going on?
It is VERY strange that I was unable to POST using 2 different systems
(Vista and WindowsXp Pro) and 2 different browsers (Mozilla and IE).

Default Hide and seek

If you use a newsreader or Outlook Express to access the groups you won't
get all those problems with the web interface.
