How do I update between spreadsheets?
We use our spreadsheets as databases for our website. I then create flat text files to upload into the site. When a vendor notifies us of a price change, I have to go in manually and update each spreadsheet. How do I have them check automatically? The main problem is that the updates we are sent are in a very different layout than what I use. I may have to change their layout to match mine and then update. i.e.: Their layout: Part No. 10K Jobber (those last two are pricing categories) Mine: Part # Description Model # Notes Price I do have a column of their part numbers already created in my lists for reference. Any way to just have that check against mine and update a price if necessary? |
