I have a different workbook for each Quarter of work, i.e. Sept, Dec,
Mar...and I need to Total the Quarters together. I know how to add totals
from different sheets in the same workbook, but can I total different pages
of different workbooks?

Just preceed with the sheet name, as in Sheet1!A1.

The best way to create formulas is to let Excel do it. Press the equal sign,
then navigate to the cell you want to start with. Excel will enter its
address. Then hit an operator (like +) and go to the next cell. You can keep
going, and create a formula without ever having to type in a cell address.
