Default excel 2007 - adding dollar amounts

I am using Excel 2007 and when I sum up a list of dollar amounts in the same
column almost always the total is off by a penny. This has only occurred
since I upgraded to Office 2007. I've worked with rounding with no luck.
Does anyone have any suggestions?? Thank you.
