i've never seen this behaviour when protecting a worksheet - if i've sized
the window and chosen to protect the WORKBOOK with the window check box
checked then yes, but not worksheet protection

as to your "Excel should have" statement - if you want to provide feedback /
suggestions / requests ideas etc to Microsoft send them an email to


with Excel in the subject line
