I need ur help urgently
Hi
Actualy I have to make a complaint sheet for my office. There are 3 departments in my office and each department have 3 sub-department. Now I have to make a report that if i have any problem regarding any department than first of all I have to select the main department from a drop down.Suppose if I would choose 1st department, it automaticaly locate all the 3 departments which comes under 1st department, after that i have to choose my department from that list, and when i select my department there would be around 10 types of complaints and i have to choose one from that. it's very tought for me and i have been trying since morning but not able to make any report plz help me you can send me ur suggestions on |

You can use the Indirect function to refer to a named list.
If you have for example several complaints in a list A2:A8 named Comp. U can use Data Validation for the List drop down arrows =Indirect(G2), where G2 holds the string Comp. G2 cell also has a Data validation list as well returning a different range name for each string - and so on... Regards Robert McCurdy "gaurav" wrote in message ... You many want to consider using Access for this.
