Default Autofill dates not in contiguous cells

Hi all, wondering if you can help me please. Is their a way to autofil in
dates in contiguous order (01/01/2008, 02/01/2008...) but to have the autofil
complete the results into every other cell as I need to enter other data in
the blank cell between them.

For example,
cells:
A1 = 01/01/2008
A3 = 02/01/2008,
A5= 03/01/2008

Many thanks!

Enter date in A1 & A3. Select A1:A4 and copy down as far as needed
