Default excel function

Hi,
I am trying to see if I can find out if a value (number) occurs more than
one time in a very large excel sheet is there some way to do this?

Default excel function

=COUNTIF(A:A,5)1

for number 5, adapt to fit the range and the number

Don't know why the "This post is a suggestion for Microsoft" was necessary
though
