I have created and added my "custom list" to my worksheet, How do I make
excel autofill from that list? I have typed these items in my worksheet and as long as the cell I am typing in is directly adjacent to the list IT WILL autofill. If I put space in between the list and the cell I want to autofill then it will not fill. I'M CONFUSED |

You have "autofil" and "autocomplete" confused.
Autofill uses a custom list to fill when you enter an item then drag/copy down or across. The months of the year are an example of an autofill list. Autocomplete on the other hand does not use a list.......it uses the cells above or below where you are typing and needs to be contiguous.
