Default Frequency of occurence

Hi folks I asked this recently and was told to use Pivot tables....a good
idea but it didn't work. My problem is this:-

I have a number of patients (say 5000 or so) and numbered 1-5000. They come
to my clinic several times a year for various things. I want to calculate
how often they come for triage, how often for a consultation and who my top
users are. I do not want to use a countif function as I do not want to add
5000 patients as countif's.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Danny

I would use the Data Filter AutoFilter, and/or the Data Subtotals
features.........
