I would like to add and average scores for all par 3's then par 4's & par 5's
to analyse golf scores on different coures leavig the base data in its original hole be hole format |

How is the data set out?
How do we identify a par 3? Assuming you have entered the par for each hole in your table, you can use the
Sumif function. The formula would be something like: =sumif(a1:a18,3,c1:c18) To average, do a Sumif/Countif -- Regards, Fred "Golf Analyst" <Golf wrote in message ...
