I want to add a column of numbers, with a "Regular Time" box and "Overtime
Box". I need the formula to add the column. If the total is over 40 hours, then I need it to put 40 in the Regular box and the difference between the actual total and 40 in the Overtime box. If the total is below 40, then put the actual number in the Regular box. Thanks in advance for the help. |

If you are entering the total time in column A, and want Regular time in column B and Overtime in column C, then: A1: Total Time B1: =MIN(A1,40) C1: =MAX(0,A1-B1) --ron |
