Default Linked workbooks, changing links

I have a report that is really several workbooks linked together. We produce
the report monthly so this month, they all end in 2007_10, next month
2007_11. In Excel 2000, I would simply open all the workbooks and do a File,
Save As and the links automatically changed to the new version. In Excel
2003, the formlas stay the same (so they're all linked to last months data).

I've tried the Edit..Links...Change Source, and Find/Replace, but in each
case I get a message "Formula too long".

Any other suggestions?
