Hi
I am trying to find a formula or combination of expressions that will look inventory at a point in time and return the stock cover value based on the actual number of months the stock will cover. Where the final month is a fraction of the that month how is this represented. The extract below refers Date Period 01-08 02-08 03-08 04-08 05-08 06-08 Production Ideal 208 1126 1695 4059 1128 Actual 400 1200 1100 4600 4500 1923 Target 400 1300 1500 3000 3000 1923 Diff. 0 -100 -400 1600 1500 0 Shipment 903 1040 1135 3375 4535 2825 Plant stk 259 419 384 1609 1574 672 In transit 903 1040 1135 3375 4535 2825 Import 3158 903 1040 1135 3375 4535 Wholesale Deliveries 3246 2307 2088 1669 1734 3605 Port Stock 4498 3094 2046 1512 3153 4083 Act Mnth 2.60 1.70 1.20 0.70 2.20 1.80 The Act month at present is a simple division, and so not quite correct -- Dubai George |
