Default growth function with blanks

Is there a way to make the growth function work when there are missing values
like below?

2007 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 2001 2000
4,260 4,250 4,540 4,560 4,550 3,890 4,510
4,900 4,210 3,960 3,730 3,540 3,340 2,970

=GROWTH(A2:H2,A1:H1,2030) returns an error

Conversely is there a way to make the forecast function use exponential
analysis rather then linear? thank you
