Default The Growth Function

I am apprehensive about using this function only because I am not sure of the
variables in Y=B*M^x. Could anyone direct me to some background info on this
math function? Is this e to the x? What does B represent??

Thanks much - DG

Default The Growth Function

B appears to be the base value at the start (where x=0). Presumably M is
the growth ratio in one time period, and X is the number of time periods.
