Default How do I protect cell formulas used for daily counts?

Help!! I have an excel document that I use for daily counts on each copier we
use. Problem: the guys "cut & paste" the daily ## and screw up the file. How
do I protect the formulas (addition) in the cell - but let them put the new #
in the cell? i.e. yesterday's count: 1,000. Today's count: 1,599. Total of
599 pages printed.
This file was done by a former employee, and I am lost in excel - thanks
for any assistance.
