Default excel bug in Vista

Added text to a cell, went to Format Cells Font Color to change the
font color and Excel shutdown. All text that I had added was lost! This has
happened on 3 separate occasions.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi KC

Try this

1) Close Excel

2) Clear all files and folders in the Temp folder

StartRun
Enter %temp%
OK

Select every folder/file in this folder and delete them

3) Then open Excel

Run Office Diagnostics.
