Hi there, Does anyone know how to turn off the auto backup copy that is saved
everytime you save a new worksheet. I tried turning off auto recovery but that doesn't seem to have helped. Any suggestions appreciated |

In xl2003:

.... but please, if you follow Dave's correct answer as to how to do it,
*don't* come back to the group asking us how you can get back to the previous version of a file when you saved something by mistake and haven't got a backup. :-( -- David Biddulph "Dave Peterson" wrote in message ...
