Default how can I find which cells in a dataset equal a specific value

when summed?

For example:

Column A
1) 13467.45
2) 456.03
3) 678.96
4) 34.67
5) 123445.01

If the value I'm looking for is 123935.71, I need to find out that the sum
of A2, A4, and A5 returns this value. Is there a function that can tell me
which cells to use? It's for the purpose of reconciliations.

thanks.

Default how can I find which cells in a dataset equal a specific value

have since found a template that uses solver for this problem on a previous
post:

http://www.tushar-mehta.com/excel/te...ues/index.html

however instead of matching several whole amounts it just returns a fraction
of 1 larger amount in the dataset as the solution. Anyone know how I can fix
this?

thanks.
