Default what is the difference between a worksheet and a workbook?

A workbook (WB) contains one or more worksheet (WS).
A WB is equivalent to the xls file that is stored on your computer
somewhere.

For completeness, there are also other types of sheets, that are contained
in a WB:
-Chart
-Excel4 macro
-Excel5 dialog
However, you are unlikely to need these at this stage.
